Festival volunteer at music festivals summer 2026

At Nordfjord Distillery, also known as Gardsbrenneriet, we are looking to recruit a team to work as bartenders during Norsk Country Treff and Malakoff in July 2026.

We are seeking volunteers for two different roles: volunteer bartender and volunteer backbar staff. There may be some overlap between the roles, so all tasks are listed together below:
• Represent Nordfjord Distillery and meet customers with a positive attitude and good customer service
• Pour and serve drinks with garnish
• Answer simple questions about the products and provide recommendations
• Maintain good communication with the bar manager
• Change kegs (backbar staff must be able to perform heavy lifting)
• Refill ice, glasses, garnishes, empty trash, etc.
• There will always be some flexibility and overlap between the roles and tasks

Experience: Applicants must be at least 18 years old. No previous experience is required. A positive attitude and strong willingness to work are all we are looking for.

This is an unpaid position. Volunteers will work approximately 4 hours per day in exchange for entry to the festival area on the day(s) they work.

Dates we need coverage for:
• Norsk Country Treff from Wednesday, July 8 to Saturday, July 11
• Malakoff from Friday, July 17 to Saturday, July 18

We cannot guarantee that everyone will receive their preferred shifts, but we will do our best to accommodate requests. Feel free to include which festivals/days you would like to work in your application, and whether there are any particular artists you would prefer not to miss.
